There is No Competition in Destiny

I stumbled across this quote that I am sharing with you now, some years ago :"No competition in destiny." Ignorance about this truism has sent many people to their early graves. This is because they believe that to achieve anything in life, you have to fight or strive for it. In fact they are one of the staunch believer in, "the violent take it by force. Mr. Violent or Mrs. Violence or whatever you call yourself, success in life is not always so. The fact is that we are born differently even if you are of the same parentage. You run your own race, and I run mine. If you want to win in this competitive race, you need to know who ypou are competinng with. Without this, you can't win in this race. That your classmate is now local government chairman doesn't mean that you go and kill yoursef. My brother wait ypour own time is coming. Maybe, when their own time don finish, na him your own go start. The person that I taught in Primary school is now a citizen of Canada. So, why are judging your win time by his? God has set differfent time for everyome and you need to wait for your own time or else you start having unhealthy competition or use foul means to to make it. Why not just wait!

Sometimes, life is an enigma. That is why you see siblings from an affluent family and couldn't do well later in life. What could be the reason? It is to tell you that you cannot succeed by your own efforts, and everyone just has to run its own race. That is why you see that with your first class, you are still answering 'Sir' for a school cert holder. It is true you are well-educated, but that your guy wey be coconut head has chain of bsunesses. And with all your pali, you are still squatting with a friend. Did you now understnad that the race is not for the swift? It is all by grace.

The reason why some people rush ahead of their maker and want to blow by all means because they don't understand God's timing. I like David. No wonder God called him 'a man after his own heart' because his thoughts is filled with God. Whenever he is at a crossroads, he seeks the face of God. David was also almost tempted to join in the rat race for riches or the survival of the fittest at a time during his days. But he went to the temple, and he said, "I understood their end. For riches certainly make themselves wings and as a bird they fly away."

A little wonder why ritual killings and kidnapping for ransom is common in our days. Many just want to make it without the involvement of the God of success.

My former pastor once said something one day that "it is either you run ahead or God or wait for him to catch up with him or just walk side by side with him."

There was a time that things were very difficult for me. I wonder why i wasn't making it big while some of my mates are doing well. So, I went to pray, and God asked me a question: "Do you want to make it (by all means now) and die young? Or you want to make it at my own time and become comfortable (rich, whatever one) for your entire life?" Since I heard this from God, I have been waiting ever since. I saw God in a different dimension. I don't listen to anybody anymore. I can't just do any business or anything without his consent.

If you have this competitive Spirit saying your friend is driving a Lambo and I need to drive that, or my friend is living in Lekki or Banana Island and I need to also like in that area. It is because you don't understand the game of destiny. My brother, it is not by striving. One day once of my neighbours confessed to me that he had used all kinds of charms and fetish things in a bid to be rich, yet he is as poor as a church-rat. In fact, he was a perpetual begger. We offer financial support to him most times. His can barely feed his family because his hands are dirty and he didn't know the secret of wealth. The Bible says, "the labour of the foolish weareth all of them because they did not know the way to the cirtty."

I know some guys in my area doing Yahoo many years ago when some Yahoo-guys were cashing out. I mean when there was no 'plus'. But I can count about three of them who are not rich. They can even afford two meals per day. One of them eventually go and learn a trade nigbati yahoo o gbe (Yahoo did not pay him). He can't even affod a bicycle.

In life, the only competitor with your destiny is yourself. For this reason, don't hate your friend who is doing well or go and visit herbalist house or consult spiritualist just to destroy that person. The only solution to your problem is prayer and discovering yourself. You also need to hear from God too as I did many years ago. If you don't, you will just be doing 'Merry-go-round.' Some people think they are making progress, but it is just a merry-go-round. At the end of the day, you cannot point to any tangible thing they have achieved. May your life not be like that.

To conclude, you need to know that you cannot make it in life without the involvement of God, I dint mean sleeping in the church or speaking in tongues or being religious. I mean knowing God and God also testifying that he knows you. Another thing is that you need to get your hand to the spindle. Get to work, Find something to do and don't assume that all your misfortunes is because of the enemies in the village or some generational or family curses. Many people are in serious and pitiable bondage, especially some so-called Christians because they attribute their fslires in life to the activities of witches and wizards or some curses from their family or from the village. Maty God deliver you from this deluded belief is you are under this bondage.

Lastly, there are some people that you can't compete with in life. Reason? They are made for riches and not born? Those are the Bolanle and Bolaji or Folawewo. If you try competiting with these people, you will always try and fail. You don't even have the capacity or the energy. Just pray to God and do what you can and your own success or time will still come.
